    Yesterday I got back from Peru South America. I saw amazing things that you couldn't see in North America my favorite place was Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is an Incan city built high on a mountain with great architecture. The city was built of rock in a tropical forest. The other mountains and steep slopes made it very hidden from the outside world. It contained very good stone walls. Machu Picchu was one of my favorite parts of my whole visit.

     The Andes mountains was a great highlight because it had a great view and it was huge. When we went to the Andes mountains we hiked them for a day. It was very tiring, and cold. It was a long day and the snow was so deep and hard to walk in but it was fun. All we did was walk all day but it was a nice experience and enjoyable.

     We also visited the Amazon Jungle and it was crazy. There were huge bugs that were very vibrant colors and there were even monkeys! It was really exciting because the trees were so big and it was like you were under a blanket of trees. It was very exciting and my trip was so fun!
